In order to use your audacity file in other projects, you will need to export the file as an mp3.
1. Click on the file menu at the top left of the screen.
2. Click on Export.
3. Make sure that "mp3" is showing in the file type dropdown box before you click save.
4. In the next window, you do not need to change any of the settings.
Choose "okay". Your audacity file will now be saved as an mp3 to be used in other projects.
