Delivering Messages and Dropped Off Items

Except in emergency situations, parents/guardians should avoid calling the school to speak to their child.  When unavoidable, a message will be taken and the student called to the office to be given the message at the next break in class.

Being prepared for class is an expectation for AMS students.  This includes having their homework, signed permission slips, etc.  If you drop an item off your child, he/she must come to the office in between classes to pick up that item.

We cannot interrupt instructional time to call a student to the office to take a phone call or pick up an item left by a parent/guardian.

We ask that parents do not call or text their child on their cell phone as all personal electronic devices must be turned off and packed away during the school day.
