15 Kyrene Schools Achieve AmAZing Accomplishment

The PBISaz amAzing Award recognizes schools for successful implementation and outcomes with school-wide systems of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). The following Kyrene schools received the award for the 2021 – 22 school year:

 

Kyrene Altadeña Middle School, Kyrene Aprende Middle School, Kyrene de las Brisas, Kyrene Centennial Middle School, Kyrene del Cielo, Kyrene Digital Academy, Kyrene de la Esperanza, Kyrene de las Lomas Elementary, Kyrene de la Mariposa, Kyrene Middle School, Kyrene Monte Vista Elementary School, Kyrene de los Niños, Kyrene de la Paloma, Kyrene del Pueblo Middle School, and Kyrene Traditional Academy.

 

This award recognizes the dedication of school staff and community to uphold the PBIS expectations every day. PBIS is a proactive evidence-based approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students to be successful. PBIS provides an integrated continuum across the Kyrene School District to achieve positive social, emotional, and academic outcomes.

 

Attention is focused on creating and sustaining school-wide, classroom, and individual systems of support that improve learning. Together we are building a school culture that is more positive, proactive, and supportive for all our students so that they can be successful citizens and leaders of our nation.
