This week, Kyrene Traditional Academy 3rd grade teacher Julie Ormiston was recognized by Fiesta Bowl Charities and College Football Playoffs for being an unsung hero for her students, families and KTA team.
"Julie is such a positive force at our school, and she always goes the extra mile for her students." KTA Principal Dr. Lescher shared.
As part of her recognition, Julie received a $1000 Gift Card for Donors Choose to use to support her students and classroom. While we could not celebrate in person, Dr. Lescher along with staff, students and representatives from Fiesta Bowl Charities were able to surprise Julie over Zoom!
