New Staff Spotlight


Welcome to our new Cerritos Roadrunner Staff!


Ms. Stacey Diapoulis

New staff spotlight! Welcome new 4th grade teacher, Ms. Stacey Diapoulis. Stacey is a fifth year teacher from Arlington, VA. She earned her Masters in Teaching from James Madison University and has been teaching fourth and fifth grade in Fairfax County, VA. She is looking forward to a cross country road trip, meeting new people and exploring all the hiking trails Phoenix has to offer!


Ms. Holly Cook

Welcome new 4th grade teacher Ms. Holly Cook. Holly recently relocated to the Phoenix area and is so excited to be a part of the Kyrene community! She was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and taught fifth grade for nine years. She and her husband John have a one-year-old daughter and a rambunctious labradoodle named Gryffindor. In her free time, she enjoys crafting and traveling.


Ms. Tara Jang

Welcome new 2nd grade teacher, Tara Jang. Tara has taught Kindergarten, first, and second grade for 12 years in Gilbert. She grew up in a small town in North Carolina, and loves to visit there often because most of her family still lives there. In Arizona she lives with her husband, Aaron, and their daughters, Harper and Emry, who are four and one. Tara's family loves to have dance parties and eat yummy food.


Ms. Katy Ettling

Welcome Special Education teacher, Katy Ettling! Katy has been teaching for four years and spent the last three years as a Self-Contained Moderate to Severe Special Education Teacher in Chandler, Arizona. She is an Northern Arizona University Alum. Katy enjoys building long-lasting relationships with her students and families, and finding joy and success with each student she works with.
