Computer Science Week is December 9th – 15th and to celebrate this event, students at Pueblo Middle School will have many opportunities to participate in an Hour of Code. The Hour of Code is a global movement introducing tens of millions of students worldwide to computer science, inspiring kids to learn more, breaking stereotypes, and leaving them feeling empowered. Hour of Code activities include online and unplugged lessons from Code.org, Freecodecamp.org, Scratch, and Minecraft programming challenges. These Hour of Code activities are a commitment from Pueblo Middle School to provide an opportunity for all of our students to develop these foundational 21st century skills. This event ensures that all students are exposed to problem solving and inquiry based learning in which they learn skills that will help them achieve in all subject areas.
