    Breakfast - $1.65 (not served at Cerritos or Sierra) and Reduced-price $.30
    Elementary Lunch - $2.90 and Reduced-price $.40

    Pay for Meals Online

    Checks made payable to Kyrene School District and cash in a sealed envelope and labled for the student are accepted at the school sites. 

    We offer an optional credit card service to make meal payments, view account balance, and review meal history online at www.k12paymentcenter.com.  Fees for payments to change August 1, 2019, please choose payment type carefully.  Electronic Check(eChecks) option can be choosen for $0.95 fee regardless of the total amount, as of 4/7/2020.   Payments up to $95.00 will be charged $1.95 convenience fee, $96.00 and up will be charged convenience fee of 3.99% of the total payment.  One payment may be split multiple children for one transaction fee. Parents may transfer money between accounts themselves.  Low balance notifications can be set under Parent Profile to be notified when the meal account is getting low on funds.  

    Please remember to turn off Automatic payments in K12Paymentcenter.com so you don't get charged over summer break, this is found in the Wallet section under Recurring Payment settings by changing auto payment type to low balance for the summer or change the number of payments to 0.

    Email Notifications

    Food Nutrition Services sends emails through its software with the email address of noreply@mg.mealsplus.com. and from School Nutrition Department. Thank you for verifying email settings to ensure the delivery of emails. Check junk/spam folders to ensure the receipt of account balance and meal eligibility notifications.
     
     
    National School Lunch Program
     
    The National School Lunch Program is a program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Through this program, eligible students may be offered free or reduced-price meals. We also participate in the School Breakfast Progam at schools except these schools; Cerritos, and Sierra.  Meal payments may be made online, as this program operates in all of the schools in the Kyrene School District. Meal applications are distributed to every student in the district at the beginning of the school year. Application information will remain confidential and will be used only to determine eligibility for free or reduced-priced meals. Applications are also available at all school offices or by clicking on the links below:
     
    2019-20 Online Meal Application Submission (English & Espanol)
    Apply for the 2019-2020 school year (English or Espanol) starting mid-July. Notification letters are emailed from noreply@mg.mealsplus.com.
     
    2020-2021 School year meal application
    You may apply after July 1, 2020 for the new school year.  Please visit www.lunchapplication.com to submit an online meal application prior to school beginning. We have this site available approximately the 2nd week of July to start applying.   Paper meal applications for the new school year are sent home on the first day of school to all students.  We email the notification of meal status letter to parents when the application is processed. Please watch for noreply@mg.mealsplus.com - School Nutrition Department for the letter.

    Public Notice - Meal Account Refund

    You may request a refund within 4 months of a student withdrawing or graduating from our District. You may make the request by calling 480-541-1660, or emailing foodservice@kyrene.org. We issue a check for the refund. Please include a parent name and address to whom we should issue the refund when emailing the request. Funds may be transferred to another student who remains in Kyrene School District.

    SMART SNACKS:  Please contact the SFE office at 480-541-1660 for information regarding Smart Snacks and the current list of items. You may email them at foodservice@kyrene.org.
