Kyrene Schools account for 26% of the 83 Arizona schools being awarded Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) awards this year from PBISAz. This year, 22 Kyrene Schools have been recognized for their hard work implementing and maintaining PBIS to improve the academic and behavioral outcomes for students.
The award recognizes a school’s dedication and commitment to improving student outcomes using consistent PBIS initiatives on campus. The schools receiving the awards are:

This recognition highlights Kyrene’s dedication to creating and sustaining school-wide systems of support that improve learning and ensure all students are successful socially, emotionally and academically. Awards will be presented during the annual Behavior Education Technology Conference at the Desert Willow Conference Center in Phoenix.
