Sierra Roof Replacement
This page will be updated regularly with the most recent communications for families regarding Kyrene de la Sierra Roof Replacement.
10.31.25 Update
Dear Sierra Community,
Roof construction at Kyrene de la Sierra is proceeding as scheduled and should be complete in the next two weeks. Once construction is finished, skylight installation will begin and should take two weeks. A deep cleaning and air quality retesting are scheduled for December. The full timeline is outlined below.
Kyrene Facilities and Technology teams will be working with Principal Gibson to coordinate the return of equipment and materials to the Sierra campus. This will include time for staff to pack up belongings and prepare for the move. If work remains on schedule, students will return to campus in January, for the start of the second semester.
I want to thank you again for your patience with this process. I know we had all hoped to move Sierra back to campus sooner, but I’m grateful there have been no further delays. We will continue to keep you updated on progress and will release final air quality testing results in December.
Sincerely,
Laura Toenjes
Superintendent
