Sick Leave Bank

One of the valuable benefits negotiated in our Meet and Confer Document is the Sick Leave Bank for teachers and nurses. Maintained by KEA, the Sick Leave Bank provides donated Sick Leave days to teachers or nurses in circumstances of catastrophic illness or injury.

Once you have joined the Sick Leave Bank - by contributing 8 hours of Sick Leave - you are eligible to access it at any time in the future. (If you would like to donate an additional day, you may do so.) Certified employees can only donate a day of sick leave during the designated Sick Leave Bank Donation windows.  Click on the links below for complete information.

• 2nd SLB Donation Window:  January 1st to February 15th
