KEA OFFERS AEA-R MEMBERSHIP to RETIREES
- KEA members retiring from teaching will become new members of the Arizona Education Association – Retired (AEA-R) organization, thanks to a long-standing practice of the KEA Rep Council.
- KEA underwrites a one-year membership in AEA-R for all retiring Kyrene teachers who have been KEA members. The practice was established years ago by the KEA Rep Council and former KEA president Doc Gerard as a way of honoring our valued long-time members.
- Membership in AEA-R provides the retirees with the educational publications and special benefits they received as full-time active members, as well as continued contact with the Kyrene education community.
