Important Updates For 2026-27

Tuition Rates

Kyrene School District analyzes tuition rates annually and makes adjustments as needed to cover increased operational costs.

Kyrene is making a commitment to not raising rates for the next two years. Instead, to help cover our increased operational costs, effective July 1, 2026, Preschool invoices will include applicable credit card processing fees. For families interested in making Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments directly from their bank accounts, there will be $0 processing fees applied. Please note, with the penny being phased out by the federal government, tuition rates will be rounded to the nearest $.05.

Registration Information

General registration opens online at 6:30 a.m. on February 3, 2026. 

When registering, please take a moment to review your contact information (phone number, email address, home address, emergency contacts, etc.) to ensure we have the most current information for your family.

Preschool Options and Tuition

2026-27 School Year

Space is limited in all preschool options and contracts are approved on a first come - first served basis.  

Monthly tuition is due one month in advance.  Please refer to the Tuition Details below for Invoice and Due dates.  

Students who turn 5 before September 1 must register for Kindergarten. 

Students enrolled in either Five Full Days, Four or Five Half Days AM, or IEP Services AM may be dropped off up to 30 minutes early when campus opens for before school supervision at no additional charge.  Preschool Program Coordinator/Teacher Assignments

Great care has been taken in placing Program Coordinators and Preschool Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year, with consideration given to Program Coordinator/Teacher choice and the development of strong team-teaching models. During the registration process for tuition-based Preschool, families will have the opportunity to indicate their Program Coordinator or Teacher preference at their selected location.

Preschool Packages

1.5% or 3% Discount: Students enrolled in a Five Half Day or a Five Full Day program and who are receiving speech only services will receive either a 1.5% discount (Full Day program) or a 3% discount (Half Day program) off on the corresponding program tuition.  

20% Discount: Students enrolled in both a Four Half Day and a Five Full Day program will receive a 20% discount off on the Five Full Day program tuition. Tuition must be paid for both program options in order to qualify for the discount. 

35% Discount (Students must be receiving IEP services in order to qualify for the discount): Students enrolled in the Five Full Day program and who are receiving IEP services will receive a 35% discount off the Five Full Day program tuition. 
 

Scholarship Opportunity for Typically Developing Students

Kyrene School District is proud to partner with First Things First to offer Quality First Scholarships to eligible families. Families are eligible based on household size and income, and if they are enrolling a typically developing student in a Four Half Day program at Kyrene de las Brisas or Kyrene del Milenio.

Families who are awarded the scholarship are not required to pay to attend the 12-hour per week preschool class. The scholarship does not apply to families who have DES funds assigned.
