Preschool Registration Information

For all Community Preschools, registration contracts for families whose children are not yet three years old:

• Students must be three years of age and have self-sufficient toileting skills prior to attending program regardless of when the registration contract is submitted/approved
• Contracts will be approved no more than 30 days prior to the student’s third birthday
• Contracts will be approved based upon availability
• Tuition will be charged two weeks prior to the student's anticipated start date 
• Contracts submitted during the annual registration window will only be approved if the student will be three within the first 30 calendar days from the first day of school

Per state statute, students are considered Kindergarten eligible if they are five years old before September 1 of the current school year.

Students who will turn 6 during the school year (i.e., turning 6 before June 1) do not qualify for Kyrene Preschool and must enroll in Kindergarten. Student enrollment in preschool programs is dependent upon the program having available capacity. 

After a student’s application has been approved, families will be contacted and requested to provide the following items to complete registration:

• Child's original or certified birth certificate
• Immunization records
• Proof of Residency Form / Shared Residence Form
• Photo I.D. (of parent/guardian)
