Nonverbal reasoning generally refers to the ability to analyze information and solve problems using spatial and abstract thinking. This can also refer to how well students solve problems using geometric shapes and figures. To perform successfully, students must invent strategies for solving novel problems, be flexible in using these strategies and accurate in implementing them.
