Important Updates For 2026-27

Tuition Rates

Kyrene School District analyzes tuition rates annually and makes adjustments as needed to cover increased operational costs.

Kyrene is making a commitment to not raising rates for the next two years. Instead, to help cover our increased operational costs, effective July 1, 2026, Kids Club and After Hours invoices will include applicable credit card processing fees. For families interested in making Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments directly from their bank accounts, there will be $0 processing fees applied. Please note, with the penny being phased out by the federal government, tuition rates will be rounded to the nearest $.05. 

Registration Information

General registration opens online at 6:30 a.m. on February 3, 2026. 

When registering, please take a moment to review your contact information (phone number, email address, home address, emergency contacts, etc.) to ensure we have the most current information for your family.

With school consolidations beginning next year, there may be some staffing changes, including Program Coordinator assignments. Staffing decisions are determined each spring as part of our planning process for the upcoming year. This timeline allows us to review enrollment, program needs, and budget considerations to ensure we are appropriately staffed to support students. Families will receive information regarding Program Coordinator assignments once final decisions are made. 

New This Year

Families have more flexibility with the Pick Your Week option.  Prior to each invoicing date, families can log into Arux and select specific weeks each month. At this time, this option is only available for the five-day a week program. Changes to the weeks you select may be made without penalty until the invoice is generated.  Once invoices are generated, the weeks you selected are locked in for the invoice period, and you will not be able to remove or switch days in your schedule.  You may add days for that invoice period at the current Drop-In rate with a 48 hour notice; however, drop-in days are not guaranteed. Credit will not be given for any unused days.
