In order to participate in practice/games, or to qualify for financial assistance, the families' Athletics account must reflect a zero balance and all current fees must be paid in full
Payment of a sport does not guarantee a spot on the team. The student athlete must comply with all requirements posted by their home school and team.
Payment Deadlines:
Cut-Sports - before the first practice and after the athlete has made the team
Non - Cut Sport - by the second practice
Cheer - on or before the first practice
Arizona Tax Credit:
Athletic participation fees may be designated as an Arizona Tax Credit
Tax credit receipts are mailed out in January for donations made the previous year. Tax credit donations must specify Kyrene Athletics at the time of tax credit donation in order to apply the amount to a student athlete's sport. If you a family wants their tax credit donation to apply to both athletics and their student athlete's school, they will need to make two separate donations.
No refunds will be issued once a fee has been paid, tax credits are non-refundable and non transferable
Auxiliary Payments:
A transaction fee will be applied when the auxiliary option is chosen
Athletic fees designated as auxiliary may be refundable only for eligible nonparticipation reasons, such as season cancellation prior to the start date or minimum enrollments not met for teams
A refund cannot be issued if the student athlete:
Gets hurt
Quits or is suspended from the team
Becomes ineligible due to grades or behavior
Returned checks and declined credit card payments:
Will result in a $15 insufficient funds fee
Failure to respond promptly to this matter may result in an administrative withdrawal from this and/or other Athletic Programs
