Parent Sportsmanship

Kyrene Athletics believes that parents, guardians, and family members are a student athlete's first and most important teachers when it comes to learning good sportsmanship.

Therefore, parents/guardians will:

• Ask their student athletes to treat other players, coaches, fans and officials with respect regardless of race, sex, creed or ability
• Abide by the coaches rules regarding communication, practices, and travel
• Schedule time to speak with the coach when they are ready to listen and communicate in a professional and courteous manner 
• Not create a hostile environment for student athletes or coaches because of playing time issues
