The USDA has given notice that schools will return to the regular School Breakfast/National School Lunch Program for the 2022-2023 school year. Breakfast and lunch meals served at school will need to be paid for at that time.

Checks made payable to Kyrene School District and cash in a sealed envelope and labeled for the student are accepted at the school sites for meal accounts.
We offer a new optional credit card service In-Touch to submit meal account payments. Choose meal account to apply money to your student(s) meal accounts. Payments will be applied to your students meal account at 7:00 AM, 9:45 AM, 11:15 AM, 12:15 PM and at night at 11:30PM daily to update the meal account balance. Balances can be checked at any time at family.titank12.com. Meal account balances in Meals Plus have been transferred to our student accounts in the new Titan software. Negative balance notices will be emailed daily to parents during the school year. Meal account balance notices are sent on Friday to notify you of the current amount as your student(s) may/or may not spend money to purchase 2nd meals or Al-a-Carte items.An account needs to be created to view your child's meal balance at family.titank12.com. Link your student to you and then you will be able to view meal balances. Public Notice - Meal Account Refund
You may request a refund within 4 months of a student withdrawing or graduating from our District. You may make the request by calling 480-541-1660 or by email. We issue a check for the refund. Please include a parent name and address to whom we should issue a refund when emailing the request. Funds may be transferred to another student who remains in Kyrene School District.

The Federal Communications Commission has launched a temporary program to help families and households struggling to afford Internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Emergency Broadband Benefit provides a discount of up to $50 per month toward broadband service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers. Eligible households can enroll through a participating broadband provider or directly with the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) using an online or mail in application. National School Lunch Program
The National School Lunch Program is a program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Through this program, eligible students may be offered free or reduced-price meals. We also participate in the School Breakfast Program at all schools. Meal payments may be made online, as this program operates in all of the schools in the Kyrene School District. Meal application information is distributed and made available to every student in the district at the beginning of the school year. Application information will remain confidential and will be used only to determine eligibility for free or reduced-priced meals. Please apply for meal benefits, so if eligible, you will receive P-EBT (food stamp benefits) and meal benefits are in place when we return the National School Lunch Program. Please visit https://family.titank12.com/BSM25N to submit an online meal application to us. You may turn in paper meal applications to any school office. We need all families to apply regardless of if they are attending Kyrene Digital Academy or an in-person school. The free, reduced-price, and paid meal information is used to qualify the school district for other student qualifications and funding. We email the notification of meal status letters to parents when the application is processed.Additional Food Assistance
If you are not already receiving Nutrition Assistance benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, consider applying.
Additionally, DES and its community partners offer other food assistance programs to increase food security and reduce hunger by providing children, low-income individuals, and seniors with access to nutritious food. More information about these programs can be found here.
