  • About the Principal

I am the proud Principal at Waggoner Elementary; it is with great honor that I can work with our wonderful Wildcat community. This is my 20th year in education, starting as a classroom teacher in third and fifth grade, as well as an adjunct faculty member for ASU.  I received my B.A. in Elementary Education from ASU, a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from NAU and a master's degree in Educational Administration from GCU. I was born and raised in Arizona. I have a beautiful blended family with six kids; ages 16-23. I enjoy being active outside and trying new things.

I love watching students grow in their learning and aim to make them feel welcome and safe at our school.  I strive to create a positive environment where students can feel a sense of community and pride walking through the door each and every day. We have entered into a year that is very different from what we are used to, I am confident that our students, families, and staff will support one another and stay strong through these times.

I look forward to helping students at Waggoner learn, grow, and enjoy their educational experience while making great memories.
