Akimel A-Al Battle of the Books Club

Webpage will be updated in December for 2022 Battle. 

Who: Any Akimel A-al student who wants to participate and is committed to reading ALL TEN Battle of the Book titles by April TBD. 

What: Students will meet and discuss in detail about books they're reading. Preparations will be made in order to compete in the Battle of the Books final competition, which will take place in April  between all Kyrene Middle Schools. Only top 5 readers go to the competition. Books will be provided for students to use, but in case you want to get a head start (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), the book list is below. 

Where and When: The AKI Battle of the Books first meeting date starts Thursday, February 13th  from 3:15pm-4:15pm in Room B-4. We will continue to meet every Thursday at the same time (except March 12th) until the final battle.
