  • 2021-22 Supply List

    This year, it is recommended that students have their own supplies and not share. Children will put all their daily school supplies in their own personal pencil boxes. Student notebooks and other larger supplies will be stored in their cubby or desk. Items under OPTIONAL will be collected by the teacher and stored in a cabinet.

  • Mrs. Brunner receives 2021 Exemplary Principal Award!

    We are excited to share that Principal Kelley Brunner has been chosen to receive the Maricopa County School Superintendent's Office 2021 Exemplary Principal Award! Following a challening nomination process, finalists of the Exemplary Principal Award are interviewed, staff are surveyed and on-site observations are made on each campus. A selection committee then chooses a handful of individuals to receive the prestigious award.

  • Colina WatchDOGS provide positive male role models for students

    Colina WatchDOGS volunteer WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) is an innovative father (father-figure) involvement, educational initiative of the National Center For Fathering. At Colina, we believe that having a positive role model on campus makes a big difference not only in your child's life, but that of other students. By simply being present and visible, WatchDOGS show all students that education is important while enhancing school security and reducing bullying.

  • Colina DISCOVERosity Zone

    The DISCOVERoom, or DZ, is a STEM based learning program that takes place during lunch recess. It is run by volunteers with support of donations and tax credit donation funds. The DZ provides an opportunity for students to freely explore a variety of science and engineering concepts.

  • Colina is pleased to bring PLAYWORKS to campus!

    Playworks partners with schools to design curriculum and activities that offer play opportunities during recess and lunch. Trained coaches work with schools to introduce games into the playground that are inclusive to everyone while teaching teamwork, conflict mediation, leadership skills and social skills. Thanks in part to a grant from the Abbett Family Foundation, we are thrilled to be bring Playworks to Colina and are pleased to be partnering with this amazing company.
