NJHS is excited to welcome our new and returning members to the 2018-2019 school year. NJHS is an organization that recognizes students who demonstrate a combination of outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, citizenship and service. All of the attributes are considered in selection of the candidates in the Society. Candidacy is open to 7th and first year 8th graders . This year’s candidates will be required to participate in 40 hours of combined community service (30 hours out-of-school and 10 hours of in-school) and maintain a 3.0 GPA to be inducted into the society or receive a second year certificate. Letters for application are available on the NJHS website under "APPLICATION" with the completed forms due no later than August 31, 2018.  Completed applications can be turned in to either Mr. Gritz in room H-8 or Mrs. Zimmerman in room J-9 or the front office prior to August 31, 2018.

Meetings will generally be held approximately once a month. Members and candidates are expected to attend all meetings and participate in the activities of NJHS. Service logs can be found on line as well as ideas for types of service and suggested opportunities for service.

NJHS has a long history of honor, dedication and pride. We are pleased to be a part of this outstanding organization and are looking forward to a great year!

    Respectfully,
    Pueblo NJHS Sponsors
