I am the Assistant Principal at Waggoner Elementary school. This is my 25th year in education.  During my career, I have taught special education K-5 and 6-8, Second grade, and Structured English Immersion for ELL students.

I received my B.A in Special Education in 1993 from ASU, and my Master's Degree in Counseling in 1996. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher, and positively impact children's lives. I feel strongly that ALL students can learn at high levels and be successful at school. It's important to me that students feel safe, loved and enjoy being at school.
I have a wonderful husband and five amazing children. My son, Garrett, is in College up in Prescott, and my daughter, Kara, is a Junior at Corona del Sol. My three step-daughters live in Tucson. In addition, I  have two adorable dogs; Penny and Charming, and one crazy cat, Noel.
When I'm not busy at school,  I enjoy camping, traveling to Rocky Point, kayaking, hiking, and reading.
