Purchasing Department

Thank you for your interest in doing business with the Kyrene Elementary School District No. 28 of Maricopa County. The Purchasing Department purchases a variety of services and commodities. It is our goal to acquire quality services, equipment, materials and supplies for the District in a timely and cost efficient manner while maintaining an open and competitive environment.

WHO PURCHASES FOR KYRENE?

The Purchasing Department serves as the primary point of contact for purchasing services and commodities required by the District. Although Purchasing initiates, evaluates and awards many informal and formal purchases in accordance with established policies and procedures, District departments and schools have authority to obtain quotations within the limits set forth in the Arizona Revised Statues A.R.S. 15-213.A  (see Types of Procurements). Under the delegated authority and responsibility of the Assistant Director of Business Services is the only District agent authorized to issue solicitations for services and commodities valued more than $100,000.
