Welcome to Kindergarten!  My name is Mrs. Natalia Rojas.  I am so excited to have you and your child as a part of our class this year!  I absolutely love teaching and hope to inspire your child to the love of learning.  Besides teaching, I love scrapbooking, taking pictures, going out to eat with my family, and I love going to ASU football games with my family and friends!  GO SUN DEVILS!

 

*A Little Bit About Myself

I was born in Tucson, Arizona and raised in a small town named Continental.  I went to Sahuarita High School.  During this time, I volunteered in an Elementary School during my Sophomore year. It was then that I realized that I wanted to be a teacher.  I loved watching the kids learn!  

 

*Education

After High School I attended Arizona State University and received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood.  I started my teaching experience at Garfield Elementary School in the Phoenix District.  Then I came to Kyrene, where I taught 1 year at Waggoner, 6 years at Lagos, and going on 23 years at Esperanza.  

During my teaching at Esperanza I continued my education by getting my Masters in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading.

 

*My Family

I have been married 23 years to a wonderful man named Jose. We have two children.  My oldest is Andres, who is 21 years old and will be in his 3rd year at ASU.  Angelica is 19 and will be her 2nd year in College.  She will be attending NAU.
