Thank you for sharing your children with me this year!  I am very excited to be teaching again here at Monte Vista!

This is my eighth year here teaching the 4th grade gifted self-contained class. Prior to this I was a gifted resource teacher in the Kyrene School District for many years, and I have also worked in rural New Mexico as a special education teacher and a speech pathologist. 

Ahwatukee has been our home for the past twenty plus years, and you will often find us hiking, biking, or playing in and around this beautiful area.  My children grew up with Kyrene and Tempe Schools and are off enjoying post college life. My daughter finished her Ph.D. in psychology and is a professor at Saint Louis University. My son completed his master degree in Climatology and Climate Change and is now enjoying life in Oregon pursuing his passion of research and climate change. My husband and I now share our home with two adorable dogs and a pond full of fish.  :)
