About Mrs. Massar
This is my 18th year teaching gifted students in Kyrene. I began my teaching career in New York, where I taught special education for ten years. I was born and raised in New York, which is where much of my family still lives. My husband, George, is the oldest of 7 children. Between his siblings and mine, we have 15 nieces and nephews! Family events may not happen often, but when they do, they are a lot of fun.
My family has lived in Arizona for 27 years. George and I celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary on August 1st. Becca, our oldest child, is married to an EMT/firefighter named Ari and they reside in Gilbert with my absolutely precious granddaughters, Riley and Sadie (5 & 4), and my grandson, Camden who is 20 months old. Our youngest child, Jeremy, is a firefighter. He and his wife, Lacey, live in Mesa with our wonderful grandson, Aiden, who is 4 years old and our 10 month old granddaughter, Avery. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, seeing movies, quilting, scrapbooking and spending time with my family.
