COBRA InformationCOBRA gives workers and their families who lose their health benefits the right to choose to continue group health benefits provided by their group health plan for limited periods of time under certain circumstances such as voluntary or involuntary job loss, reduction in the hours worked, transition between jobs, death, divorce, and other life events. Qualified individuals may be required to pay the entire premium for coverage up to 102 percent of the cost of the plan.COBRA elections are available only on the benefits that an employee had elected prior to terminating employment.COBRA coverage can only be elected for medical, dental, vision or medical flexible spending accounts, if they were carried by the employee prior to termination.

What is it? Open Enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to change your benefit elections or enroll in new coverage (outside of qualifying life events such as marriage, birth, divorce, etc.) for the 24/25 school year. Your new elections will be effective July 1, 2024.

How do I enroll? Online enrollment through Employee Access will begin Spring 2024. Communications will be shared via email and US post with Spring enrollment details and instructions.
