Meet the Teacher

Dear Second Grade Families,

I am thrilled to be your child's teacher at Waggoner!  I have taught in Kyrene for over 20 years as a special education teacher, and a first and second grade teacher, and both of my own children attended schools in the district. I retired in 2015 from Kyrene, but missed teaching, so I worked in education for a private company for two years and then taught first grade at a charter school last year.  I am so happy to be back in my Kyrene family.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy training sessions and showing horses.  I am a member of the United States Equestrain Team and the Arizona Hunter Jumper Association.  I also love hiking and spending time with my husband, three dogs, and a pet rat.  

It is going to be a great year!
