I am Tom Dowell, and this is my first year at Pueblo. I am originally from the Sacramento area of Northern California, and moved to Arizona in 2011. I graduated from CSUS (Sac State) with a BS in Criminal Justice, and am currently on track to receive my Masters of Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University in 2021.
My wife, Brittney, and I have three awesome kiddos: Delani (6), Chloe (4), and Tommy (1). We also have Scully, our rescue dog named after Vin Scully. Speaking of Vin Scully, I am a HUGE Dodger fan! I love all things about baseball, and I am always ready to talk sports with my classes. I also enjoy woodworking, golfing, road trips, hiking, and camping.
Our school year will obviously be challenging with the remote learning format, but I am up to the task. I am very excited to be the newest member of the Bulldog family, and I look forward to my first year with all of you. If we stay positive, respectful, and patient with each other, I promise you that we will overcome the challenges, and have a great, memorable, and successful year together!
I am always reachable via email, so please don’t hesitate the contact me. I promise I will respond as soon as possible.
This classroom page is subject to change – the word of the year is FLEXIBILITY. Any changes will be communicated in class and via regular emails from me to students and parents.
