    Dear Parents and Students,

I am thrilled to be the Academic and Behavior Specialist at Pueblo!  This is my tenth year in education and my second year at Pueblo as the Academic and Behavior Specialist. I have worked as a three/four combination teacher, a fourth grade teacher, and a fifth grade teacher. I am an Arizona native and I attended Arizona State University where I received my BA in Elementary Education and my M.Ed in Educational Leadership. I also have my Principal certification from the Arizona Department of Education.

At Kyrene del Pueblo we use Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to improve school culture, student behavior, and promote a safe environment for learning. The objective is to promote and reward positive behaviors in students to improve social, emotional, and academic outcomes at Pueblo. For more information about PBIS visit pbis.org/topics/family.

Please feel free to contact me if you or your child need support throughout the school year, I am here to help!

    Sincerely,

    Brittany Brown, M.Ed
