Hello Kyrene Middle School Scorpions! I am a first year teacher, and although this year may look different, I'm looking forward to the new challenges ahead as we navigate our digital learning environment. I'm very excited to be joining the KMS team this year and to be teaching your child science. 

I was born and raised here in Phoenix, and I spent a lot of my childhood exploring the natural world through hiking and camping. My passion has always been life sciences, but I am looking forward to teaching physical sciences and earth and space sciences as we progress through our curriculum. When I'm not teaching, I like to work in my garden, to spend time with my menagerie of animals at home, to try to not murder my houseplants, and to work with local animal rescues to foster orphaned kittens.
