Update: February 28, 2022
As of February 25, 2022, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) no longer requires face coverings on school buses or other school-operated transportation. In alignment with the CDC, effective immediately, Kyrene School District will no longer require face coverings to be worn on school buses or any other District transportation.
Face coverings remain welcome and encouraged for all who choose to wear them. Details about the CDC’s amendment to the federal transportation order can be found on the CDC website.
As always, Kyrene’s plans remain flexible enough to respond to the evolving circumstances of the pandemic.
