Mrs. Kelly Walker

Welcome to 8th grade social studies! I look forward to being your social studies teacher here at Kyrene Middle School! 

I am an Arizonan of 20 years and am starting my 4th year as a social studies teacher. I grew up going to school in the Mesa School District and was very active in sports as a kid. I graduated form Dobson high School and went straight to MCC to play soccer and run Track and Field. After having my fun playing college sports, I decided to transfer to Arizona State University (GO DEVILS!) and persue a degree in Secondary Education. I graduated from Arizona State in December 2016 and immediately jumped into my teaching career! 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy trail running and mountain biking the local trails here in AZ! I have family here in Arizona as well as in Kalispell and Butte, Montana! My husband and I take yearly trips uo to Kalispell to see my family and love to get lost in the great out doors!
