If you did not already know, any Arizona taxpayer can get a dollar-for-dollar tax credit when they donate up to $400 per year ($400 for joint return, $200 for individual return) to a specifically designated school activity (i.e. Altadeña Band). If you are unfamiliar with this opportunity, please follow the link to the Arizona Department of Revenue’s website for more information:
As an organization, the Altadeña Band Program’s financial success depends on tax credit donations that come from band families, extended families, and friends. All of our festivals and field trips (AMEA, Area Concert Festival, State Concert Festival, Highland Jazz Festival, etc.) along with many of our classroom supplies (music, oils, ligatures, mallets, reeds, stands, etc.) are paid for using these funds. If you are interested in redirecting some of your tax money towards the Altadeña Band Program, you can do so by filling out the donation form and returning it to Altadeña. The donation form can be found at the link below:
Any amount that you donate will go directly to help the Altadeña Band and its programs. In advance, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for any help that you, your family, or your friends might be able to provide. Even the smallest donations can go a long way for us.
