• Dear Sabercat Parents and Students,

Hello and welcome to the 2019-2020 school year. I have been teaching Physical Education and Coaching for 11 years now. For the last 9 years I taught Physical Education and Coached Basketball and Track at Don Estridge High Tech Middle School in Palm Beach County Florida. I grew up in South Florida and have always been involved in athletics. I played football at West Virginia University from 1996-2000 and played professionally for a short time after but my 1st love is basketball. My wife and I have four beautiful children and now that my playing days are done, I thoroughly enjoy watching my own children play sports and I am learning to embrace my role as the "embarrassing sideline parent", which of course is just passion...right?! My family and I moved from South Florida to Arizona over the summer and this will be my 1st year teaching at Centennial Middle School. I am excited to be a Sabercat! I love athletics and physical fitness, I think it is very important to develop and understand a healthy lifestyle early on. Being active, teaching and coaching students to reach their goals as it pertains to physical fitness is important to me. I am looking forward to a wonderful year and I am very excited to meet each and every one of you!

I want all students this year to have an open mind and be ready to move and have lots of fun with our Sabercat Physical Education Team!!!

    See you soon.

    Khori Ivy
