Ms. Lawler

My name is Caitlin Lawler and I will be your child’s Fifth grade teacher at Kyrene de las Manitas! This will be my second year officially teaching and my fifth year at Manitas.  I am so excited to teach your student and cannot wait to start the year! 

All About me:

I was born and raised in San Diego and most of my family still lives there. I am extremely close with my family and they are very supportive in my choice of career since many of them are educators as well! They have passed down their love of learning and because of this I have always known I wanted to be a teacher. I have one younger brother who attends California Berkeley. it has been amazing to watch him grow as a person and succeed! 

I attended Arizona State University and received my degree in Elementary Education. Go Sun Devils! I love all ASU sports, but especially football! and softball.I graduated in May 2020  my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction: English as a Second Language through ASU. I am so excited to start this year and build a family in our classroom. My focus in our classroom is to build an environment where the students feel at home and and are rewarded with positive behevior. I am so exited for this school year! Please know that I am always here to support both you and your child!
