Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year at Kyrene del Norte.  I'm excited to work with your child in the dual language program.  Your child is a valuable addition to our community of learners and will engage in a number of new learning experiences.

I am a proud Sun Devil that graduated from Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College.  I earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Bilingual Language Education and English as a Second Language.  I am also a proud graduate of the Teachers of Language Learners Learning Community (TL3C) program from Mesa Community College.  Both of these rigorous programs have given me the knowledge, skills, and experience to build upon every students' funds of knowledge.  I believe it is important for students to learn how to collaborate, build social skills, and develop global citizenship.  These skills will be vital in building your child's confidence as a bilingual student and establishing a strong foundation for their academic future.

My husband and I have two daughters and two dogs.  Both of my daughters had the pleasure of going through the Kyrene School District.  In my free time I like to travel and complete races with family and friends.
