High School Algebra Math Notes and Extra Help Page
Please feel free to reference the below notes and powerpoints. Some, but not all, of these will be used in class this year with our current textbook. They might not describe the ideas in the exact way the Carnegie Textbook does, but they teach the ideas directly and have examples to follow. It can often be useful to see an idea in a different way.Notes and Helpful Info(SCROLL FURTHER DOWN FOR 8th GRADE MATH REVIEW NOTES)High School Algebra Course NotesQuarter 1:1.1 Quantities and Relationships (Functions):1.2 Sequences:2.1 Linear Functions:_Carnegie Topic Summary Linear Regressions.pdf

In these corrections, students must re-write and re-work EVERY incorrect problem on a separate piece of paper, show all work, and provide at least two sentences explaining why they got the problem wrong in the first place and how to fix that error in the future. Generic explanations such as “I did it wrong” do not count, be specific. We will go over the correct answers and example sentences in class before this is HW. Prior to re-taking a test, all students must complete corrections on their own time or at tutoring.HIGH SCHOOL ALGEBRA HELPFUL LINKSCreate your own account on the Carnegie Resource Center.
