• It is the Philosophy of the Centennial Band Program that no student should be denied the privilege of band class due to financial restraints. Please contact Mr. Grzyb with any concerns regarding the acquisition of any required item listed below.

    Instrument:

Students should be renting or purchasing an instrument (visit the instrument purchase tab for information on acceptable brands). Renting an instrument will cost between 20-60 dollars per month depending on the instrument type and quality. Instruments can be rented from:

    Music and Arts
    Milano's Music
    Music Maker Workshop
    Guitar Center
The Music Store (Baseline rd and the 101)

Students who play large instruments (Bass clarinet, Bassoon, Baritone Saxophone, Euphonium, Tuba) should see about the possibility of renting an instrument of better quality but may talk to me about arranging a school instrument rental.

Students who cannot afford the monthly commitment of instrument rental should talk to me. I have a limited number of school instruments available for rental. These are given on a need basis, then on a first-come/first-served basis.

All Clarinet and Saxophone players (even those on school instruments) must purchase one box of Vandoren reeds (2.5 strength for 6th grade, 3 strength for 7/8th)
