About Mrs. Tabah
Welcome to First Grade! My name is Samantha Tabah and I am so excited to be your child's teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. This is my seventh year teaching and my third year at Waggoner. I am originally from Seattle, Washington (Go Seahawks!) but have lived in Arizona for 6 years. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Spanish at Western Washington University and just completed my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction for Elementary Literacy at Grand Canyon University in April of 2016.
I just got married in March of 2016 to my wonderful husband, Matt and we have two dogs, Oscar and Theo. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my dogs, baking, teaching Zumba, playing tennis, reading, and painting.
I am passionate about providing your child with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful academic career. Our classroom will be a safe and inclusive space where your child will be valued as a part of our school and classroom community. I greatly value the relationships I am able to build with my students and their families and look forward to sharing an amazing year with you!
