    About Mrs. DuPlessis
    maroon line
    Dear Parents and Students,

Mrs. DuPlessis is excited to be in her 14th year of teaching and fifth year at Pueblo Middle School. She grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona and studied clarinet performance and music education at the University of Arizona in Tucson and went on to teach band at Fees College Preparatory Middle School in the Tempe Elementary District from 2007-2016.

Mrs. DuPlessis is an active musician and plays principal clarinet with the Arizona Wind Symphony. She is an active clarinet adjudicator for Arizona High School Regional Honor Band and All State Band and served as Vice President of Elementary and Middle School Band Activities for the Arizona Band and Orchestra Directors Association for 3 years. She was also the middle school clinician and director for the first three years of the Musician Enrichment Foundation’s Summer Music Camp at the Tempe Center for the Arts this summer where she was thrilled to conduct students from all over the valley, including her former students at Fees and her new students at Pueblo!

Mrs. DuPlessis is married to Mr. DuPlessis, the director of bands at Corona del Sol High School. They live within the Kyrene community and are the proud parents of their adorable and hilarious 8-year-old son Alex, who will be starting third grade nextdoor at Paloma Elementary School this year! He loves all things trains, legos, Star Wars, and New York City (especially the subways!), and being around band students--especially marching band!

Mrs. DuPlessis loves teaching at Pueblo Middle School and looks forward to another great year of making music with your wonderful students in the Pueblo Bulldog Band Family!
