Greetings Norte Cougars!
A little about me; I am a family oriented person, so when I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three beautiful children. We have a vibrant and loving 13-year-old daughter, a sweet, kind-hearted, rambunctious seven-year-old son and a independent and curious little girl who is four years old. My other passions in life are traveling, music, camping and relaxing with a good book and a cup of coffee.
I graduated from Arizona State University in 2004, with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree at Arizona State University. I am looking forward to my fourth year here at Norte. Some of my other work experience includes being a behavioral therapist for children with autism in Southeastern Wisconsin and teaching 5th grade in the Isaac school district, in Phoenix. I have also had the pleasure of teaching English to children and adults in Thailand during my 2 years of traveling and living abroad. I have spent my life working with various learners of all different ages and diverse cultural backgrounds.
I am so very excited to meet all of the wonderful students and their families this upcoming year!
