Parents,

It is with pleasure to welcome you to Milenio School for the 2016-2017 academic year. I have been an educator for 34 years. In my career I have taught grades K, 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. in Michigan and Arizona. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Masters in School Administration. I also teach at the University of Phoenix one evening per week for the College of Education. This is my first year in Kyrene School District. I am happy to be a 5th grade teacher at Milenio School. I have three grown children and six grandchildren. I love being a grandmother. It is so much fun! I love to read, travel, walk and swim.

I am committed that your child receives a high quality education that will prepare him/her for 6th grade and their future. Positive goal setting is the first step toward long lasting achievement. With this in mind I encourage you to talk with your child about their academic and behavior goals. It is through beginning with the end in mind we can be successful. To do this an open line of communication between parent, student and teacher is necessary.
