About The Teacher
This year will be my 30th year of teaching. Although I have been teaching for what some consider a "long" time, teaching allows me the opportunity to continually learn and grow beside our most precious resources-children. My goal is to nurture curiosity, reflection and self-confidence in each learner.
I grew up in North Dakota and graduated from Moorhead State University (MN). I received my Masters degree from Arizona State University in Early Childhood. I have taught first through third grade and spent eight years as a math coach/teacher specialist for Kyrene School District.
My husband teaches in the Chandler School District. We have two children. Quincy is sophomore at Southern Utah University and Kagan is a sophomore at Chandler High. We spend time hiking, camping, biking and cheering for our children on the soccer field.
