Dear Parents and Students,

 

 

Welcome to Altadena Middle School! I am excited to work with your child and hope to make it a fun and exciting year!  

 

I grew up in Ohio, graduated from The Ohio State University, and moved to Phoenix, seeking new experiences.  I am married and have a 19 year old son who attends ASU.  My family moved to the New York City area in 2011 where we had many great adventures.  Despite all the exciting things New England has to offer, we missed Arizona and decided to return.  There's no place like Altadena!  I hope you feel the same way.

 

I have the distinct pleasure of teaching multiple subject areas and providing instructional opportunities in a co taught setting, making my day full of interacting with students of all levels in a variety of activities.  This academic year I am co teaching math with Ms. Jaffess and ELA with Ms. Sydnor.  However, I hope to get to know all of our students on Team 7B!  I look forward to getting to know your child and am always available to provide assistance, encouragement, and a smile.
