    Posting of Student Grades
Grades will be posted in the Parent Portal regularly. Please check student grades as I will post them weekly and hopefully I will not make any mistakes as I am human. Please have your student keep all work for the quarter just in case I make a mistake, I can then fix it upon them showing me. With your student keeping their work, I can easily fix the mistake.
If your student is absent they will have one extra day to turn in any missing assignments without any points being deducted from the assignment. If they are absent and a project is due, the project is still due the day they return as they have had over 1 week to work on the project.
If your child is hospitalized then we will discuss the action plan to bring your student back up to speed with the rest of his/her peers.
I do not offer extra credit. For every day an assignment is late the grade goes down 10% after 5 days the assignment will be a zero.  Assessments or Projects will not be allowed the extension as they have had 5 or more days to complete the assignment. In the last week of each quarter, I will not take any late work as I am getting grades completed.
    Corrections for assessments.
Your student is only allowed to make corrections on assessments. This is like extra credit. Students get one day to complete the test corrections as I do not want students to put it off and then forget to do it. I take the two scores and average them out and that is the new score.  On the corrections for every answer they get correct they get 1/2 a point. Our vocabulary quizzes offer a retake after they take the quiz so they can fix any they missed. So there are no corrections on vocabulary quizzes.

    We will follow their plans.
