Hello, my name is Megan Churchill. The Churchill family is a loving bunch. There is my husband Greg Churchill, our two boys Logan and Connor plus our four-legged princess chihuahua named Peanut. Our family loves to play games together, have airsoft wars and hike.

I have been teaching for over 15 years now! I started teaching in Colorado in a multi-age gifted 1st and 2nd grade classroom. I was lucky to have these children for two years.  I then moved to North Carolina and taught at Carolina Forest International Elementary.  This school was rated 8th out of the top 20 international schools in the country! I loved my time at this school.  In North Carolina I taught 3rd and 4th grade.  I was also the coach for our Odyssey of the Mind District Champions for 4 years.  Odyssey of the Mind is a program that allows children to think creatively to solve problems.  When I moved to Arizona I had the pleasure of working at Sierra teaching 3rd grade. Gifted teaching has always been a passion of mine.  Allowing students to have the opportunities to challenge themselves to grow is my goal.

Teaching has always been one of my passions.  My grandfather was a principal for over 30 years and my grandma was a teacher for 20.  Watching these two people mold and shape minds inspired me to do the same. I love to read, travel and play music.  I am excited to have the opportunity to work with your child this year!
