ShopWithScrip - Easy Gift Cards with Big Rewards

The KMS PTO has partnered with online fundraising organization ShopWithScrip to bring you an easy new way to support KMS!.

ShopWithScrip offers gift cards from over 750 major retailers that can be purchased online and sent electronically to the recipient of your choice. You get the full value of the gift card, and each retail brand gives a percentage of that purchase back to KMS. It’s a win-win!

    Getting started is easy:

    1)      Enroll online at ShopWithScrip.com.

    2)      Enter our KMS enrollment code when prompted: C57678A274144

    3)      Start shopping! Payments can be made using a credit or debit card (2.6% transaction fee) or by linking your bank account for instant transactions ($0.15/transaction).

    4)      E-Gift cards will be sent immediately to your recipient of choice!

    5)      Send physical gift cards (for a small shipping fee) by downloading the ShopWithScrip mobile app RaiseRight.

ShopWithScrip fundraising can be applied in a variety of scenarios. Give gift cards to teachers as gifts or to help support their classroom needs. Use gift cards when doing your own holiday food or gift shopping. Send e-gift cards as holiday gifts to friends and family. Have a kid outgrowing clothes at a rapid pace? Consider using a gift card for clothes shopping.

PTO funds are used year-round to help teachers purchase the supplies they need, support our efforts to brighten up the KMS campus via our Bright Spots initiative, supplement funds for athletics and other extracurricular organizations, and provide community engagement activities for our students.

Please feel free to share the link and KMS enrollment code with friends and family.

We hope you will join us in our continuing efforts to build our Scorpion Nest!

    2020 Tax Credit Donations

State law allows Arizonans to contribute up to $400 to public schools for extra curricular activities and then deduct that amount directly from their state income taxes through a tax credit. Contributions must be postmarked by December 31 of the year to which you want to apply your tax credit. Individuals and couples filing jointly may take advantage of this tax credit. A maximum of $200 can be deducted per individual tax return, or couples filing a joint return may deduct a maximum of $400.  You must have a receipt from your school to submit with your taxes.

Your tax credit donation helps students attend extracurricular activities like athletics; art and music programs; character education; and field trips. These programs develop well-rounded students who in turn build strong communities.
