    Pueblo Bulldog Mascott Pueblo offers a variety of clubs, activities and organizations for our students to participate in. 

    For questions, please reach out to the sponsor of the club you are interested in.

    District Policy: Permission slips, signed by a parent/guardian are required for student participation in all extracurricular activities.  If a student is interested in participating in a club, activity or organization, please have them reach out to the sponsors or stop by the front office to get a permission slip. The permission slip must be signed by both student and parent/guardian prior to attending the meeting.

    Dungeons and Dragons Club - CLOSED (maxed players reached)

    Pueblo's Dungeons and Dragons Club is an extracurricular program where our students come together to play Dungeons and Dragons, one of the most popular and famous tabletop roleplaying games. Members will go on adventures, fight monsters, discover treasure, and explore a mystical world.

    Game Club

    Sponsors: Mrs. Milton  and Ms. Casias-Innocenti

    Game Club allows students the opportunity to hang out with their friends and play games under adult supervision. They can  play all types of games; i.e. card games, board games, Minecraft, and computer/video games. They may even bring their own games as long as they are approved by the Game Club administration.

    Pueblo GSA

    Sponsors: Mr. Zantello and Ms. Corbett

    Pueblo GSA Club is for students who identify as LGBTQ+, have family or friends that do, or are straight allies that want to have a safe place to hang out with their friends before school on Wednesday mornings at 7:50 in room G7. As purely a social space, friends gather to work on homework, listen to music, play games, draw, and just hang out and have a good time.

    Pueblo Jazz Band - CLOSED

    Auditions are now closed.

    Jazz Band students will perform at school concerts, school functions, and community events throughout the year as well as the Highland Jazz Festival near the end of March. As much notice as possible will be given when adding performances to the calendar throughout the year. All students are expected to attend all rehearsals and performances (unless they are sick).

    Jazz Band Rehearsals: Tuesdays and Fridays, 7:05-8:05am beginning on Friday, September 9th. (Mrs. DuPlessis will unlock the side gate by 7:05 to let students in).  

     

    National Junior Honor Society - 7th & 8th Grade - CLOSED

    The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.  NJHS students and their peers volunteer in their communities at the highest rates and make connecting with and serving within the community a priority.  This organization is open for Pueblo 7th and 8th graders.

    Application window is closed.  You will be accepted no later than Friday, September 2.  Please check your Kyrene student email for acceptance letters.

    The first meeting of NJHS will be at 7:55 AM on Wednesday, September 7. Attendance at all NJHS meetings is mandatory.

     

    Pueblo Student Council - CLOSED

    The Student Council is a club where students work together to grow school spirit around campus by planning and executing engaging activities. Members of the Student Council will have opportunities to demonstrate leadership, responsibility, and integrity. Members must be willing to make the year-long commitment of being part of the club, as well as acknowledge the requirement to maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher.  The Council meets monthly after school and the members must be sure they have a ride home after the meetings.

     

    Pueblo Warrior Cats Clan Book Club

    Sponsor:  Mrs. DuPlessis    

    This club is open to all Pueblo students who are interested in the Warrior Cats book series by Erin Hunter. This free club will meet after school weekly in the Library, starting on Tuesday, September 6th. Activities will include sharing our favorite cats/clans, discussing our favorite parts from the books (no spoilers allowed!), drawing our favorite cats, writing Warrior Cats fan fiction and/or Manga, role playing, and more! Students will help decide the activities! Students must demonstrate respectful behavior in order to participate in this club. All students must either walk/bike home or be picked up at 4:15 near the E building gate (closest to the Library).

    Student Lighthouse Team

    Sponsor: Mrs. Harper

    The Student Lighthouse Team is a group of students representing each grade level in our school who synergize to have a positive impact on students, staff, and the community.  As part of the SLT, students promote leadership among all students, discuss and recommend habits-based solutions for concerns at our school, demonstrate the 7 Habits to other students,  and actively participate in school and community service activities.

    Theatre Club - Pueblo Players

    Welcome to Pueblo’s Theatre Club! Theatre is a place where everyone belongs. Whether you’re interested in acting, costumes, lights, stage management, or if you just need a place to be where everyone is as weird as you are, the Theatre Club welcomes you! Theatre Club is a place where you can learn more about the art of Theatre and how you can be involved in it. We play games and work together, we sing and dance together, laugh and sometimes cry together. Our goal is to use Theatre to become more educated, kind, and productive members of society.
